Exercise 1: Finding Your Podcast Topic and Audience

Objective: Help learners define their podcast’s focus and identify their target audience.

Instructions:

  1. Brainstorm Topics (15 minutes):
    • Think about topics you are passionate about or could discuss for hours with friends.
    • Consider topics that you feel knowledgeable about or are curious to explore further.
    • Write down at least five potential topics.
  2. Narrow Down the Focus (10 minutes):
    • For each topic, write why it’s interesting to you and why it could appeal to potential listeners.
    • Identify which topic feels most exciting and has the potential for a unique perspective.
  3. Define Your Audience (10 minutes):
